Berlin Wassersports - 2019

Report by

This summer I spent 3 weeks in the Berlin Water Sports Camp.

The camp was at a place called Blossin about 30km from Berlin and next to a lake. We slept in dorms of either 2 or 3 people. We spent the morning in lessons in classes of around 10 people. The teachers help to make the lesson fun and engaging. We had lunch in the cafeteria were food was decent. After lunch we spent the afternoon doing activities such as climbing, paddle boarding, roller skating, etc. We were then given some free time before dinner. In the evening, there were optional activities such as a disco, the gym and even swimming in the lake.

We went sailing, paddle boarding, and rafting.

The lake at sunrise.

We visited Berlin twice a week - a half day on wednesday and a full day on saturday.

One of the things we did in Berlin was go on a street art tour.

We also visited the Brandenburg gate and the Reichstag

When we were in Berlin we were given the time to go shopping.

On my last weekend we visited Potsdam on the outskirts of Berlin.

I made lots of new friends from many different countries (Brazil, Spain, Bulgaria, USA, Turkey, etc.). Overall, it is a great experience and I would reccomend it to anyone.
