My Berlin College experience 2012!

This is about my 2012 experience at the Berlin Villa!

On our first day, we went to see what remains of a part of the Berlin Wall. It's amazing to think that not many years ago, this city was divided in two, separating the GDR and West Berlin. It sends shivers down your spine.

You can find really good food in Berlin, that is, outside the Campus..! If you happen to go to Berlin, you have to try "Currywurst"!

It may seem as though you will never be able to use the S-Bahn and U-Bahn the first few days of your stay, but eventually, you will learn how to get back to Fehrbelliner Platz! :D It's normal to get lost in the beginning!

It's a must to visit the Reichstag building! The guided audio tour is really worth listening to! You can learn some useful information about the building itself, but also about the view that you can see from the top of the building!

As I anticipated before, the view from the top of the Reichstag building is really fantastic. Getting up there is so difficult that we had to lay down and relax... just for a bit! :D

The view is really fantastic, and the everyday sunsets really awe you!

On Sunday, when new students arrive, the best thing to do is get out of the house and go to the other part of the city and visit the Flohmarkt. Besides the fact that the ambience is really fun, including live performances.

Another place to visit is the Olympiastadion! ;)

To sum things up, I had a blast in Berlin! I meet many new people from all over the world that I hope to remain in contact with and maybe meet in the future!

Thanks for the fun time GLS Staff!
